Skiller Of The Week is The Step Over with a Change of Direction
The step over is a dribbling move or a feint used in football to fool a defender into thinking the attacker, in possession of the ball, is going to move in a direction they do not intend to move in. The move was reportedly invented by Argentine striker Pedro Calomino in the early 1900s, though everyone knows it was invented by one of the Scotch Professors in the 1880s 🙂 Nowadays, the skill is used by attacking players all over the world, such as Messi and Ronaldo.
