This weeks Skiller of the Week is ‘The Cruyff Turn’ – actually it was invented by a flying Scottish ‘winger’ in the 1950s 🙂 or was it the 1960s? 🙂
Named after the brilliant Dutchman Johan Cruyff, this is a great skill for losing an opponent.
Shape as if to pass or cross but then drag the ball behind your standing leg with the inside of foot.
Turn your shoulders and your hips so that you are back in line with the ball and then race away
